cook'n up a storm of chicken
Well today most Wisconsinites are out to cast their vote in today's primary. Since I was out on the other side of town I check out a store I don't go to often since they moved. Well I found about 30lbs of chicken quarters on mark down for .48/lb. I could of made if 40 BUT one of the bags was puffy and that's a no-no when buying meat so I had to pass on that bag. So this afternoon to make sure I have room I am baking up pans of chicken quarters. I will remove the fat and take them off the bone and cut the cooked meat up. Then I'm going to put the cooked meat in zip bags in my freezer. So then when we want chicken for say something like fried rice, chicken salad, quesadilla's, or chicken alfredo it's already cooked and I just need to warm it up. Quick, easy, and cheap eats for the family.

We do this all of the time. It is so simple to use the chicken this way. I am now a follower of your site. Please return the favor.
